The rate for a 50 minute session is $250, The medicare rebate is $136.35

To be eligible for the medicare rebate you will need a referral and mental health care plan from your GP or psychiatrist. Medicare will provide a rebate for up to 10 sessions in a calendar year.

At the time of your appointment, you will be charged the full session fee. The medicare claim will be processed at the same time, and medicare will deposit the rebate amount into your nominated bank account.
